- To expand the knowledge and develop new technologies or methodologies with practical applications through research.
- To foster partnerships with the higher learning Institutions and Industries and hence strengthen the research capabilities of faculty, scholars, and students.
- To increase the number of scholars, high impact factor publications and patents through the sponsored project
- To improve the TCE research infrastructure
