The B.E. The B.E. Electrical and Computer Engineering programme at Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) equips students with a strong foundation in electrical engineering, computing, and intelligent digital technologies. The curriculum seamlessly integrates electrical systems, electronics, computer programming, software engineering, computer organization and architecture, embedded systems, artificial intelligence, data communication and networks, Internet of Things (IoT), control systems, power electronics, renewable energy, smart grids, and cybersecurity. With a strong emphasis on experiential, CDIO-based, project-oriented, and interdisciplinary learning, students engage in engineering design, software–hardware co-design, firmware development, industry-focused use cases, capstone projects, internships, and innovation-driven activities to develop problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills. The programme prepares graduates to design, develop, and deploy intelligent, secure, and sustainable engineering solutions, making them industry-ready for careers in electrical engineering, embedded and computer systems, software development, automation, semiconductor technologies, robotics, electric vehicles, smart infrastructure, and emerging digital industries.
