Overview:
Mechanical Engineering Association is a collaborative team of staff and students working rigorously to dissipate the essential needs and aspects of mechanical sciences to its student members through various innovative activities, workshops, lectures, and study help programs. Throughout these years the team has positively contributed to enriching the technical skills among its students through a widescope of interesting junctures providing them with a great opportunity to learn and apply their learned skills.
Machine mail is our Department’s official magazine edited and presented by a team of skilled MEA members. This magazine portrays our Department’s austerity in various domains including technical articles, art, craft, sports, and social service along with our staff accomplishments. For this academic year, we will be releasing 2 different versions under the same banner.
To increase, the enthusiasm and competitiveness among the students we have divided the entire department into 4 teams namely Carina, Orion, Draco, and Bellatrix. Points will be awarded to the teams based on participation and the number of winners. The team with the highest point at the end of the academic year will be awarded with a trophy.

As every year, in the academic year 2025-26 MEA has organized various events such as,
1. Quality Quest – A quality control challenge for 3rd year students.
2. Joyous Escapade - A vibrant fresher’s day celebration organized to warmly welcome first-year students into the Mechanical Engineering family
3. Storage Wars – An auction event for 1st year students.
4. Career Scope Talk – Placement awareness program for pre final years by placed final years.
5. Lateral Entry Students Orientation program - An Ice Breaking session for newly joined 2nd year lateral students.
6. Design with Fusion - A workshop on modelling using Fusion 360 for 2nd year students (Phase 1).
7. Vision Talks - A Career guidance session regarding placements and higher studies for 1st and 2nd years by final year students.
8. Idea Fusion - The design thinking project expo event for 2nd year students.
