Dr G Kumaraguruparan is elected and sworn in as President of Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) Madurai chapter for the society year 2024-2025 (April 2024 - March 2025).

Two teams from the Mechatronics Department had won the cash prize of Rs 1 lakh at National Level HVACR hackathon organised by ISHRAE, Delhi on 14th April 2024 for the project “Effective use of innovative AI techniques in the entire supply chain of cold storages”.
